Moving already asks for time, coordination and attention. Move-in and move-out cleaning can take one major task off your list, with the work assessed around the property’s condition, access, belongings and handover timing.

Before you settle in
Move-in cleaning: consider the space you’re arriving to.
A move-in clean begins with the property as it is now, not an assumption about how it was left.
Tell us whether the space will be empty, partly furnished or already occupied. We need to understand its current condition, which areas are accessible and the level of detail you want before estimating the work.
If movers, contractors or another service will be present, share their expected finish times and when you plan to bring belongings in. Cleaning needs a workable window with safe access and the utilities required for the agreed scope.
Apartment move-in requests and larger properties are assessed individually. An address or requested date alone does not confirm that the work can be accepted.

Packing, keys, utilities and deadlines can overlap. Let us know what will be finished before cleaning starts and what may still be in the property.
The normal starting point is an empty or nearly empty space after moving and other work are complete. If belongings remain, we need to review the access and scope rather than assume everything can be cleaned around them.
Share any known landlord, property-manager or handover requirements before estimating. A third-party list is information for review, not automatic agreement to complete every item.
Cleaning does not guarantee a security-deposit return, landlord approval or a passed inspection. Those outcomes may depend on requirements and conditions beyond the agreed cleaning work.

The confirmed scope reflects the actual condition, occupancy, access and detail requested. “Move cleaning” is not an all-inclusive task list.
What to tell us
Describe the property’s size and condition, rooms involved, remaining belongings and your priorities. Identify who has authority to approve the work and arrange entry, along with any inspection, key-handover or occupancy deadline.
What to arrange
Plan for safe access, working water and electricity, appropriate indoor conditions and clear access to the agreed areas. Movers and other workers should normally finish first. Tell us if that cannot happen so we can review the options.
What needs separate review
Tell us about appliance-interior or storage-area requests before the estimate. An empty cabinet, appliance or room is not automatically included. The written estimate, applicable terms and property-specific checklist define the agreed work; additional requests need approval.
What move cleaning does not imply
Vacant-property cleaning is not hauling, moving, junk removal, construction cleanup, remediation or restoration. We do not assume high-access work or heavy-object movement, and we cannot take responsibility for new dirt, damage or changes after the visit.
If the disclosed condition, access or timing materially changes, we may need to revise the scope, prioritize accessible work, reschedule or decline the job. Additional billable work requires explanation and approval, not a surprise charge.

The handover date matters. So does the time before it.

A firm deadline is important information, not a reservation. Same-day availability and fixed turnaround times are not promised; Granite & Sage must confirm that the requested timing is workable.
